Allyson's birthday

Ordered this Barbie Princess cupcake from Prima Deli's for Allyson's birthday, she was so excited this morning when I told her the cake will be delivered to school between 9.30am - 12.30pm. She told me, "Mummy, you ask the uncle don't send first, I see if my friends are good today. If yes, then I let them eat the cake." Isn't she cute??? She sounded like a teacher.

We were at the Centre at 3pm & the kids were awake from their afternoon nap.

The teachers helped in the setting of the birthday party & I was glad to see that Allyson was smiling widely throughout the celebration & the children enjoyed the cake.

P.S. Initially I was worried there wouldn't be enough cupcakes (only 24pcs) to go about, but luckily, it was enough for all teachers & children in Allyson's class & some kids managed to eat 2 too. I knew Cynthia will laugh at me being such a "stingy" mum but I really find this "cupcake" is something special.

Happy Teacher's Day

It doesn't seemed to be a norm for my kids to give presents to their teachers on Teacher's Day, they are giving me the impressions that Teachers are people who torture them during school hours & giving them tons of homeworks. I have explained to them that teachers are professionals whom would mould us into useful adults by imparting their knowledge & making sure that we are on the right track but this doesn't seem to go into my kids' mind. Or is it true that good teachers are hard to find these days? I don't think so, cos Randson decided to get a pink teddy bear for his Chinese teacher.

Nickson's English teacher was hospitalised due to an accident & he wished to give her something when she is back to school cos she did not attend the Teacher's Day celebration. Bought this brown bear at Tampines Interchange & hope that she get well soon.

While in the afternoon, we were busy preparing goodie bags for Allyson's birthday party on Monday.

Happy Birthday to me!!!

Happy birthday to me, happy birthday to me, happy birthday to ME, happy birthday to me!!! As usual no cake (luckily I baked one on Sat, 3/4 of it still in the fridge, don't feel like eating).

Received birthday greetings via sms from sis, Cynthia, Marilyn, Jen, Linda, Sanderson, Shervelle & Lena... Thank you everyone!!!

Things I do today :
1. Bring the kids to school.
2. Went shopping at Metro cos they are having 50% + 20% discounts for most items (bought 2 blouses for mum, 1 pants & a T-shirt for myself & a Princess comb for Allyson).
3. Went back home.

Even birthday can be so boring but I managed to play Maple for at least 2 hours non-stop, yippy!!!

Oh yes, Randson got his birthday present from sis & he wore it for his abacus class.

Happy Birthday Randson!!!

P.S. "Mummy, help me call Yi Yi leh, she never give me birthday present."

I want a birthday cake!!!

I don't care, I want a cake for my birthday (early celebration) - Johnson has been asking me, why there is always cake for everyone at home except Mummy's birthday.

I bake one myself, though it is not so perfect & I do not have coloured cream to write the wordings, I use oranges instead - "Happy Mum" cos no space for "birthday".

The kids sung the birthday song & I blew an imaginery candle, lol.

Mother's Day cards from kids

My kids drew these cards on the computer screen for me...

Randson was sleeping while they are drawing these so he drew me a separate card when he woke up. Really appreciated my kids' works.

Nickson bought a "rabbit" pen for me too.

Early Mother's Day celebration

Seems like everyone are so busy & most of the celebrations are celebrated before the actual day.

We went to Bali Thai (last minute decision on the restaurant) to celebrate Mother's Day with mum. The food here are not bad but the prices are on the high side.
Luckily mum was happy with the lunch as she felt that today's lunch is better than the one we had at Sakae Sushi.

Mother's Day present from Allyson

This is first Mother's Day present I got from Allyson, the childcare teacher taught her to make the jelly & wrapped it up in a fancy bag. There was a tag which she wrote "I love U"!!!

Thank you Allyson, it is very nice!!!

iSqueez as Mother's Day present

Brought mum to Osim Roadshow at Tampines Mall yesterday as we intend to buy her OTO Tataki which is similar to Osim Upapa. She tried out the Upapa but found that no much feel after using it as it only "hammer" your back. Then the Sales guy introduced Isqueez to her & she has the same comment for it. Then he tried to introduce different ways of using Isqueez & finally mum felt that the Isqueez is squeezing her feet (lol). I believed she started to "love" it but we didn't buy it cos it is too expensive.

After much thoughts, I spoke to sis & we decided to buy the Isqueez (by instalments) for her as Mother's Day present. Got to thank her for helping out!!!

Early celebration of mum's birthday

Being kiasu again, Mum's birthday is next Monday but we celebrated her birthday today cos I have to work late again!!!

I bought a chocolate cake for her & the kids sang aloud for Mum & helping her to cut the cake. It is great to see the great smile on her face.

"Happy Birthday, Ma!"
