Happy Birthday to me!!!
Happy birthday to me, happy birthday to me, happy birthday to ME, happy birthday to me!!! As usual no cake (luckily I baked one on Sat, 3/4 of it still in the fridge, don't feel like eating).
Received birthday greetings via sms from sis, Cynthia, Marilyn, Jen, Linda, Sanderson, Shervelle & Lena... Thank you everyone!!!
Things I do today :
1. Bring the kids to school.
2. Went shopping at Metro cos they are having 50% + 20% discounts for most items (bought 2 blouses for mum, 1 pants & a T-shirt for myself & a Princess comb for Allyson).
3. Went back home.
Even birthday can be so boring but I managed to play Maple for at least 2 hours non-stop, yippy!!!

I want a birthday cake!!!
I don't care, I want a cake for my birthday (early celebration) - Johnson has been asking me, why there is always cake for everyone at home except Mummy's birthday.
I bake one myself, though it is not so perfect & I do not have coloured cream to write the wordings, I use oranges instead - "Happy Mum" cos no space for "birthday".
The kids sung the birthday song & I blew an imaginery candle, lol.

Medical Appointment
Accompanied mum to Changi General Hospital for her medical appointment, she has been experiencing tummy pain these days & doctors suggested that she should do a scan.
The specialist at CGH was unable to diagnose what has caused the pain, hence suggested to do a CT scan & scope in order to find out what was wrong.
Mum will have to fast for 6 hours for the scan & has to get ready (by drinking 2 litres of fluid) 2 hours before the scan. As for the endoscopy, Mum will not be able to have solid food the day before the scope & she can only take water after 3pm. Worst of all, the scan & scope were carried out on different days, it is kind of heartache to hear these & she told me she will endure these in order to facilitate the scanning & endoscopy.
Jiayou jiayou!!!

P5 Adventure Program
The school organised hiking sessions for the Primary 5 & Johnson went to Mount Faber yesterday & complained that it was very tiring to walk all the way from the foot of Mount Faber to the top.
As for today, they went to Costa Sand & have a long walk at the Pasir Ris beach. In the evening the school organised campfire for the students & parents are invited too. We went there about 9.45pm where we were just in time to catch the finale of the session - only dancing & singing ... after that "Good nite everyone" (hiaz).

Facial & massage
Not sure what to do after sending the kids to school so I decided to go for a free facial by Citispa (knowing that they are bound to recommend their services after the facial).
It was a very basic facial, similar to those we did at home however I loved the decoration & setting of the room, it is kind of relaxing & I had a short nap after the mask was applied onto my face. After 30 mins I am done, as usual they will offer you tea & try to promote the packages that they are having. I have no intention to take up any packages cos they were too costly for me. But I took up their massage package as I'm supposed to go for massage on Monday but unable to make it due to sun burn.
The package started with steambath, I thought it would be the same kind of steamroom at Mandarin Garden but was surprised that the steambath took place in a bathroom similar to those on the cruise. After that was cucumber body scrub...unlike the kind of scrub we used at home, no beads at all, only small bits of cucumber (I assume).
I was looking forward to the massage but was unable to relax or take a nap cos the masseur kept talking to me & when I told her which part of my body is aching, she would ask me to sign up their package & visit them more often. OMG, really money come first.
After 45 mins of massage, I don't find it great as compared to the Javanese massage which I went with Eliz. Luckily the "promoter" did not insist further.

Medical checkup at HPB
Brought Randson for medical checkup at Health Promotion Board & was told he is overweight (anyway I knew before the checkup) however he is fit attend physical exercise in the school. Sometimes I wondered, why checkup was not carried out in the beginning of the year? He was asked to go for a blood test for diabetes but we have to come back another day cos he drank a bottle of milk this morning. We also met up with the Nutritionist whom told us what to eat & what to look out for & have to see her again in 2 months time. OMG, so many things to do.

A big red Lobster
Everyone was staring at me & asking what has happened to me. I was like a lobster, red hot lobster...my hands & legs were badly sun burnt.
Luckily there were kind souls around me, Kym recommended Aloe Vera gel & Sarah offer to help to buy a tube when she was out for lunch. I was touched by these acts :)

One full day at East Coast
My kids were telling me that Daddy will bring them to the beach the next day & they have packed their bags & will have to wake up at 8am tomorrow morning when I reached home about 11 pm yesterday.
We woke up about 9.45am (too tired) & LG got his lorry ready waiting for us downstairs. We went to MacDonald to get our breakfast & had it on the lorry while LG prepared his baits & traps for the crab. Then we proceeded to the beach & built our sandcastles (initially we are not allowed to play in the water - instructed by LG).
I told myself, I'm going to enjoy myself today!!! So I made more crab models compared to last week & we built a not-so-alike sandcastle (compared to the one which the boy built not far away from us).
We were quite bored after sometimes & LG gave the instructions that we could start playing in the water, the kids were so happy that they rushed towards the sea & have a wonderful time.
So I took a rest under the shade, I wanted to join them but I have my wallet & handphone with me so I couldn't join in the fun (what a letdown).
LG finally caught a crab after the long wait - but he didn't cook for me when we reached home & we left it in the pail for mum to handle it tomorrow. Though no crab, I have the chance to play in the water cos LG helped me to hold on to my wallet & handphone. We had a great time, the kids were so happy that Mummy was playing with them & they kept pouring seawater onto my head.
Allyson was feeling cold, so we decided to take our bath & LG went to buy chicken rice for us. Yummy, eating under the trees & by the sea.
After eating the kids must be tired so they laid down on the mat & take a good rest. But to my surprise, the next moment, they decided to play football & they were so energatic & started running around again (think I am getting old). So I just sit there & watched them playing.
We left the beach at about 6pm with the crab in the pail.
Upon reaching home, we could feel our skins were "burning". We looked like lobsters & non of them complain pain except me, I am sunburnt, badly burnt!!! (Not fair this is the first time I played with sea water & I was punished badly by the Sun - just joking. Partly my fault too cos I didn't get any sun tan lotion for my kids & myself.)
