"You are The Sun"
You are The Sun
Happiness, Content, Joy.
The meanings for the Sun are fairly simple and consistent.
Young, healthy, new, fresh. The brain is working, things that were muddled come clear, everything falls into place, and everything seems to go your way.
The Sun is ruled by the Sun, of course. This is the light that comes after the long dark night, Apollo to the Moon's Diana. A positive card, it promises you your day in the sun. Glory, gain, triumph, pleasure, truth, success. As the moon symbolized inspiration from the unconscious, from dreams, this card symbolizes discoveries made fully consciousness and wide awake. You have an understanding and enjoyment of science and math, beautifully constructed music, carefully reasoned philosophy. It is a card of intellect, clarity of mind, and feelings of youthful energy.

Warm -> Very warm -> Cold -> Very cold
The air-con came back in the afternoon & we felt that it was colder than usual, so I wore my shawl in order to keep warmth.
Around 6pm, it was so cold that I have to wear my jacket & use my shawl as scarf. My colleagues laughed & asked "is it winter?" How I wish I have gloves too!!!
(Hiaz, imagine I can only leave office at 8pm & was sneezing like mad.)

Lost a bag of soya sauce, fish balls & minced pork
Upon reaching the childcare, the Principal spoke to me & I got to know that the childcare centre no longer taught Hanyu Pinyin. Why wasn't us informed? I have spoke to 汪老师 previously & the impression she gave me was she taught Randson hanyu pinyin but he confused this with the english alphabet & now I was told they did not teach 汉语拼音!!! Nevermind, I rest my case.
I returned home with all kids & didn't realised anything amiss.
The next morning, while brushing my teeth, I realised I forgot my bag of grocery (luckily, Johnson helped to carry the baby shampoo)!!! Went to check with the childcare teacher, she gave me a smile on the face, "Oh, the plastic bag, the Principal left it outside, thinking you will come back & collect... oh you didn't collect it?" Continue with another smile, "we are so sorry!"
What if I have left my bag in the centre? Will they put it outside? Hiaz... have I made the right decision???

Trip to The Cathay
Really not used to those dim dim light in the ticketing area & I rushed out of the place upon collecting the tickets.
Walked to Plaza Singapura & started my “shopping spree”. Though my kids didn't scored well so I decided to buy small gifts for them as consolution prizes since they told me they have put in their "best" effort. So I bought these toys for them in order to spend quality time together.
Meet the parent session
Started off with Johnson's class as it has the shortest queue & within the next 5 mins I got to see his teacher (relieve teacher as his form teacher is away on exam leave). He started by telling me he couldn't comment much about Johnson's behaviour as he is the relieve teacher (hiaz, now I know why the queue is so short). Luckily he failed 1 subject by 0.5 point whereby the teacher told me, they wouldn't adjust any marks for Mid Year.
Then we went to Nickson's class & I got a shock out of my life, Nickson failed 2 subjects & scored only 30 marks for Maths!!! Whereby we realised that the school make a mistake in the report book, he has scored 60 instead of 30, otherwise Nickson will get a "big" piece of my mind. Actually I didn't know the school will make this kind of mistake but anyway we are human, human do make mistakes.
Next station, Randson's class... ... all failed. His Chinese failed badly & his English & Maths are 48 & 46 respectively, though is borderline fail is still consider as failure. Must work harder ok!!!
Though my kids didn't do well in their studies (actually not bad already except their Chinese), I'm glad that teachers do give good comments about their behaviours in school which I'm quite proud of it. Keep it up, boys!!!
Maybe by keeping down my anger over the last few days, I didn't scold them on their results but we sat down to work out a plan on how to get this resolved, ie confirmed getting them a tutor to monitor/coach/make sure they STUDY!!!

Won a pair of tickets to watch Shrek 3
Johnson & myself were so excited as we have not been to the cinema for nearly 11 years (last visit was with Daddy when Johnson was only a few months old).
Don't worry to my other babies, Mummy will spend quality time with each one of you, you will get your wish fulfilled (be reasonable hor, Mummy got tight budget, lol).
"Spending quality time with your children"
I really wish I can do so but I'll try my very best to do this cos I prefer to bring all 4 of them out & enjoying ourselves as a family (hiaz, Daddy is always so busy with these outings).

Early Mother's Day celebration
We went to Bali Thai (last minute decision on the restaurant) to celebrate Mother's Day with mum. The food here are not bad but the prices are on the high side.
Luckily mum was happy with the lunch as she felt that today's lunch is better than the one we had at Sakae Sushi.

Another 1/2 day leave
I really felt that doing these last minute couldn't help much but if I don't do it, wouldn't it be worst or I'm frightening myself with these thoughts? Basically I can only go through the assessment books & reading to them the summarised notes in these books.
What I can do is pray hard that they are able to absorb all... ...

Took 1/2 day to coach my kids
Wow... ... Randson went to sleep at 7pm after having his dinner & he didn't get to revise his work. Oh no... ... I believed he is the one whom required more revision than the others.
Same thing happened to the other boys, Nickson is unwilling to revise or do any of his assessment & Johnson did it cos he wanted to be a Guardian player in Adventure Quest. What kind of world is this, I'm trying my very best to stay home to teach or coach them (though it is last minute work), they are trying to find tons of excuses not to do so.

Little Baby Tiger
Today it has become a butterfly & flew off. They are unable to capture a picture of the butterfly as everyone was so excited to see it transforming, however they managed to capture a picture of the "left behind" cocoon. Isn't it cute, life is a miracle.
Nickson named it Little Baby Tiger cos it is a Tiger butterfly.
