Reading time

Read these 3 books to the kids which Randson has borrowed from Morris Allen. Didn't know why Randson started to slack in his studies, he refused to go for Morris Allen class this morning & when asked to learn his spelling, he told me : "I am lousy, I am stupid..." & he refused to tell me whom had said this to him.

Sad ... ... ...

I thought Randson is doing well. Could it be becos he is not used to their learning pace? Or no motivation? Maybe can check with his teacher how’s he progressing in class.

Ya, he ever told me some of the students in MA class are reading P2 books while he is reading P1, hopefully this does not demoralise him.

Think is about time I have to send an email to his school teacher to check on his progress, I'm thinking would it be too much for him ... school work (5 days) + LSP classes (30 mins x 5 days) + MA class (2 hour on Sat) + LSP reading class (1/2 hour every Tues & Thurs) + Chinese remedial class (45 mins every Fri) + Abacus (1.5 hours on Tues) - More or less these classes involved reading, I am afraid that in order to introduce reading to him, he will hate it instead. Dilemma...

Looks like typical P1 schedule. But I’m just puzzle if he is already in LSP class, why u sign him into MA? Indeed, his extra classes are all very academic lei. How abt speech and drama class? Such class can help in reading and build up confidence too.

And perhaps, those books which he borrowed from MA may not what he enjoyed too. He probably reading for the sake of “doing” only especially when everyone also doing it. So those books borrowed over the weekend, are they his homework too?

Seems like he is attending more classes than his brothers in school.

Don't think there is speech & drama in school but he did attend this when he is in the childcare.

According to MA, there wouldn't be homework for them & those books which he borrowed over the weekend is to encourage him to read more, though they state that the teacher will discuss with the kids about what they have read but I'm not sure whether this is carried out in class.
